How to Use Olive Leaf Extract for Herpes

Herpes is an infectious disease spread by bodily fluids and skin-to-skin contact, with varying types. The more common types of herpes are genital and oral, with painful sores developing around infected areas. While there is no definite cure for herpes, there are a number of remedies that combat and can greatly affect the spread of herpes. One such weapon is olive leaf extract. This extract is used for medicinal purposes and is known to be antiseptic, antibacterial, anti-aging and effective in treating cancers. It is also used for treating viral diseases, such as herpes.

Step 1

Take three to four 500 mg tablets every six hours before or between meals. The recommended dosage is one tablet every six hours, but acute infections such as herpes require more.

Step 2

Continue taking three to four pills every six hours until a noticeable change or “die off” occurs. This means the medicine is working, although effects may feel unpleasant. Symptoms include fatigue, flu-like symptoms, headaches and diarrhea among others. These are detoxification symptoms and may strike immediately after supplement treatment.
